It is possible to live without vinegar, but its taste is closely related to Hungarian cuisine.

There is still a lot of vinegar to date: the global demand for acetic acid exceeds 6.5 million tonnes a year. According to the traditional method, its form is made with bacteria - the basis of ethyl alcohol.

Therefore, vinegar is used for cooking, flavoring food, but it can be used in other areas of the household, and even used in beauty care.

History of vinegar

The history of vinegar goes back a long time. The vinegar is mentioned many times in the Bible, and even in a ten-thousand-year Egyptian vase from the Pharaoh period, scientists have found vinegar residues, thus proving that they have been known to the Egyptians, Babylons and Persians to use vinegar and food. Thanks to the use of vinegar, the delivery of foodstuffs for long distances has become possible. Into water, it was used as thirsty for vinegar by the farmers and travelers of old times.

The ancient Greeks and Romans used the vinegar as well, and in the Middle Ages they further developed the composition and began to flavor the vinegar. They have also discovered the healing and disinfecting effect.

Nowadays it is available in all flavors and is widely known in many ways.
